Queen Stephanie-"My Session Brought Out The Full Me"

When asked to fill out a Tell Me Your Story questionnaire, the beautiful Queen S wrote the following:

"I was scrolling through Instagram one day and came across your page. I thought, "'Wow, that takes courage for these women to do a photo shoot.'"

"Around this same time, I was looking at retiring from my job and wondering what my next chapter in life would look like. I had gone through a few years of physical issues and finally started to feel good about my body again. After talking with my husband about doing a photo shoot, he thought it would be a good way to celebrate my retirement."

I love hearing stories like this! It’s amazing how many women stumble upon my page, thinking, "Wow, that takes courage!"—and the truth is, it really does, but that courage is in all of us. I’m always so thrilled when they find their way here during such important times in their life. Celebrating retirement with a boudoir shoot is such an empowering experience; it's such a beautiful way to mark the start of a new chapter!

"I was teased badly as a kid for the shape of my eyes, and once I started to wear glasses, I was able to hide them, and the teasing stopped. I was extremely nervous about the shoot and not wearing my glasses. Quinn was fantastic and put me at ease with her kind words and encouragement. Quinn took the first picture and showed it to me, and I started to cry. I have never felt more beautiful."

This part of your story really touched my heart. It’s so common for us to carry the pain of childhood teasing with us, and I know how hard it can be to feel vulnerable, especially when it comes to something as personal as taking off your glasses. I’m beyond grateful that clients like Queen S feel confident in trusting me. Seeing that first image and watching each of your reactions is always so emotional for me, too—it’s why I do what I do!

"We did the full shoot without my glasses, and I have to say thank you, Quinn, thank you for bringing out the full me."
