I have never done a boudoir shoot before. Honestly it wasn’t something I would have ever considered I’m the past.
I did this because for years I was told I was never good enough. It took me a very long time to realize that I am. Getting rid of the negative in my life was a huge turning point for me.
I loved the whole day as an experience to do something completely outside of my life and different. Being a mom of 3 boys doesn’t allow me much time to spend on me or feel pretty!
I did this for me. For 11 years I was subjected to negative thoughts and comments about how I looked and how I wasn’t good enough for anyone. It’s funny how you don’t realize how bad things were till you find a new direction. Part of my new direction was realizing who I am and this has been a huge part of it.
I’m not sure what I was expecting but I know from the minute I walked in the door I felt comfortable. Quinn made me feel like an instant friend and who would you want to do these pictures for you more than a really great friend!
The best part about this whole experience was realizing my strength and beauty have not been taken from me and that I can now see what others do.
