We've all come across a Facebook or Instagram ad for an experience that spiked our interest, but we typically click off and mumble the words "Maybe one day." Queen C did the opposite, after seeing my promotion post on her feed, she decided to take the leap and book the session. What started as a spontaneous decision turned into a transformative experience that left her feeling beautiful, empowered, and inspired.

Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If so, how does your shoot with Quinn compare to your prior experience?
I have never done anything like this before. I was scrolling through Facebook one day and saw your ad for first responders and thought to myself...fuck it (haha), let's do it.
Why did you do your boudoir shoot?
For me. I have always wanted to do something like this but just thought, "Oh, I couldn't do that" (which, I was wrong - clearly). Then years passed, and you showed up on my FB feed about first responders, and then, I don't know, something in me was like, yup, you've wanted to do this for so long; here's your chance! So I shot my shot, and here we are with AMAZING photos that I seriously cannot stop looking at!
What was your favourite part of the session?
My favourite part, honestly, was the whole thing! Can I say that? lol. From walking through the door to getting my hair and make-up done to having Quinn pick out the outfits for each set to going to each set and posing. All-in-all the whole experience was a lot of fun!
What did doing this shoot do for your self-confidence, self-worth, and self-image? Tell me your story. I have struggled with self-worth and self-esteem for as long as I can remember. When I saw the ad, that gave me the little extra push I needed to just go all in, I will be completely honest and say I was self-conscious in the beginning getting all dressed up and posing in awkward positions but working with Quinn, I was slowly able to get more comfortable and actually had the best time! But I will say seeing all the AMAZING pictures from Quinn was absolutely unreal. The rush of all the feels came in when I went through all of the pictures with her. I had a lump in my throat at the first picture! And just made me see how beautiful I am in my SKIN and that I should be proud of myself and what I have accomplished thus far! It's a journey! This was an amazing part of that journey, and I am so happy with the results!
Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?
When I was 12, I was with Chan International Modeling, so I had an idea of what it would be like, but since this was for me and not for a headshot, it was completely different. I was something I could definitely see myself doing something like this again if the opportunity presented itself!
